| You'll first need to install a PS2 hard drive via the expansion bay...
...the below site should help with the rest

| Well there is a technique i used to use with the PSX which was called disk swapping which worked because of the lid design of the PSX. I dont know but it might work for the PS2.
Get one burnt PS2 Game Get one original PS2 game (they dont have to be same game)
open the PS2's lid and place something on/in the censor that tells the ps2 that the lid is closed, so that the disk will spin while the ps2 is open (ensure at this point the ps2 is still off).
Place the original disk in and turn it on. The playstation intro will come on the screen watch the disk and when it slows down while reading...quickly swap it with the burnt disk...wait till it slows down swap with the original...and it should slow down one last time before the game starts then replace it with the burnt disk and there you have it!
It might sound a time consuming and much but it really isnt. Once you get it right once, it becomes a breeze. Plus no risk of mod chip board destruction. | |
