Unlocking IPhone 3g

Unlocking IPhone 3g is free of cost. Just follow these simple steps



In order to unlock your IPhone 3g you need to have a firmware: 2.2 and a Modem 02.28.00. To check for this go to settings>>general>>about.



If you have a firmware: 2.2 and a Modem 02.28.00 go straight to jailbreaking. If not, connect your phone to ITunes and restore (you cannot use the update option because that option has is not available for firmware 2.2). When your phone is restored it will erase everything on it.



In order to jailbreak your phone with firmware 2.2 you need to download quickPWN 2.2. Use quickPWN with the pwn file for firmware 2.2. Make sure you select Cydia when jailbreaking.



Open Cydia>>Manage>>Sources then add this source http://apt9.yellowsn0w.com. Please not that it is a zero in the snow and not an o. After this you need to install the yellowsn0w application to your phone. To find it go to search and type yelloesn0w. after installation restart the phone with your new Sim inside. At the start up screen wait for your phone to find your carrier. while waiting you should see searching...

After 60 seconds you should be connected. If not go to settings and turn on airplane mode and turn it off. If that does not work start from the top to ensure you followed all procedures.

Dude as good as this is i don't appreciate you giving out vital information about unlocking phones... This puts me out of a job, next thing you will start to post how to unlock Black berry.

Thats why these posts are vital! The people charging for this service has done really nothing to deserve it (no offense ahmeer). They prolly got on a forum like this and someone explained to them how it was done, much like you did. These people then take that info and use it to charge people high prices for nothing. They didnt design the crack, did not pay for the knowledge on how to crack it, buy any special tools to crack it, nothing!

You can't really bunn dem out cause if they did not gain the knowledge to unlock phones allot of phones would still be locked

LOL None taken. Papouch not all Iphone 3G can be unlocked using this method, most of them you need to test point unlock them and that is a very tedious process, you have to take the phone apart and link no forum can explain to you what exactly you will have to do next.

Link most of the phones can't be unlocked using flashing methods this is where the unlocking box comes into play which cost around $35,000-$48,000 and also when your flashing fails you will need a box to repair your PSD. I guess that kinda adds up for why they charge so much.
