Grace Kennedy Boys and Girls Championships 2009

The time has come again when the country's top young athletes will showcase their talent in their respective track and field event over the next four days(wed-sat(april1-4)). While many have predicted Calabar famously called rabalac is the favorite to carry home their third consecutive title in 2009, I strongly oppose such favoritism and expect Kingston College to do the DOUBLE over the boys from Red Hills Road. Yes. Kingston College schooled them in the semi-finals of the School Challenge Quiz on their way to winning their seventh title in the competition by Demolishing Ardenne High 42-14. We can truly expect Calabar to go all the way but becareful KC have their own secret weapon which could see them win the Championships and add icing to their cake(SCQ title).

Class 1(17-19)- Dexter Lee - Herbert Morrison Technical(Khorey Spaulding from St.Georges could stir some hot soup!)
Class 2(15-16)-Rolando Reid - Munro College(Delano Williams of Munro would not mind his team-mate winning but could also himself prove to be the victor and steal Mr.Reid's last chance of Class 2 100m Gold)
Class 3(13-14)- Keneil Harrison-Munro College(Fastly stealing Camperdown's title as Jamaica's sprint factory Munro College un-doubtedly carries the most ten second runners in champs this year! Keneil Harrison is expected to get glory after his shocking performance at western Champs by winning the 100m, 200m and 400m respectively, he was also a part of the 4X100m winning team and 4X400m second place team. He is truly the man to beat and NO ONE is expected to spoil the "little speed machine's" party.)

Minor Correction: I thought I've seen it all but the Class 2 100m Boys has been left wide OPEN yes, at least where second place is concerned, the predicted winner by slight correction is Jazeel Murphy of Bridgeport High school, his raw speed alone will drive fear into his competitors. Watch the 100m final races from 6:35pm-7:00pm don't mess it!

I hate champs because Clarendon College is not know to perform well in track and field school

Damn! What a Boys' Champs the thing sell off. Just when I thought I've seen it all then came that Murphy fellow, who copped the Class II Boys sprint double at only 15 yrs of age he runs times that are synonymous to that of boys who are 19 at champs and better!
