Random Hacks iv - password changing & administrative access

I was specifically asked to do this one on changing your administrative access level on your work, school, home, or other pc using windows xp (haven't tried it on vista).

Well this is a guide to allow you to download and do whatever you like on the pc your using by making yourself the admin.

First you'll need access to the command prompt. If you dont just make a new notepad file and in it type

command.com

and save it as cp.bat (the name doesnt matter as long as you have a .bat extention). Now run it.

Now in the command prompt type:

net localgroup Administrators "account name" / ADD

Thats all. Unless you need to make a new account but just ask me to if you need that too. New accounts are good if you dont know the names or you dont want them to know that it was you who screwed with the computer.
